The City of Bullas demands the conservation of the small palace of La Fuente de la Higuera (27/12/2018)

For the third time so far in the legislature, Mayor and Councilor for Culture are directed to the competent Ministry to demand that the owners of Fuente de la Higuera be required to preserve this property that was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC) ) in 1996, which is the maximum distinction granted to a good at a national level and is due to its importance.

"This historical heritage because of its social and historical relevance and uniqueness needs protection, so we come to the counselor to ask once again to deal with their owners and enforce the law" point from the City Council of Bullas adding " the owner of the mansion is obliged to establish a protection strategy for its conservation, something that we see is not fulfilling. "

The small palace of the Fuente de la Higuera is a jewel of modernist architecture inspired by Sevillian aromas, built in the first quarter of the twentieth century and today barely retains the elements that made it become BIC more than 30 years ago.

From the Ministry were sensitive and consistent with the request that they moved both the mayor and the councilman of culture and send back to the technicians to inspect the palace, make a report and require the owner to protect this building that is part of the Historical Heritage of the municipality of Bullas.
