The Department of Environment decides to eliminate the green points of the road of the river and of the Mediodía street (11/01/2019)

The Councilor for the Environment, Juan Valera, points out that "these points offer an unfortunate image to both visitors and citizens of our municipality."

In this sense it ensures that there is a lot of concern about the hazardous waste that is deposited in these points and that can cause danger to the environment and to people, especially the one located on the river path next to the Salto del Usero car park.

Debris, paints, industrial oils, large-volume furniture, tires, household appliances and large amounts of pruning and even loads of vehicle trailers have been found among the deposited residues.

It is striking the presence of chemical products with warning pictograms and therefore dangerous.

From the City Council remember that within the urban area Bullas there is an ecopark or clean point open six days a week and a free collection of household goods.

Next week an information and awareness campaign will be launched, making an impact on the existence of free alternatives, on regulations and non-compliance sanctions.

The initiative passed through the last meeting of the local waste board represented by the political parties and by the AVEBAC Neighborhood Association where there was no objection to the proposal.

The Department of Services and Environment is open to any proposal or suggestion by citizens in this matter.

They will be reinforced with more organic containers in other areas of the municipality where needed.

The organic residues of the country houses can be deposited in the containers of the homes in the urban area.
