On the afternoon of last Friday and after attending a meeting in Cehegín to report on the "Reindus" program and the call for grants to finance investment projects to improve industrial competitiveness and reindustrialization programs, the Secretary General of Industry and PYMES of the Ministry of Industry, Raúl Blanco, together with the Government Delegate in Murcia, Diego Conesa, the regional deputy Alfonso Martínez, the Mayor María Dolores Muñoz and councilors of the Bullas Government Team visited the Palancares and Mensajero food companies.
The Secretary General was interested in knowing innovative companies like these.
Thus, Palancares Alimentación has been the first to launch a cheese without lactose, currently converted into a specific category, and has also been the first in Spain to inform consumers of the intensity of the flavor of their cheeses by rating them from 1 to 5 (1 being the softest flavor and 5 being the strongest).
Within their facilities, they learned about the history of the company, integrated since 2007 into Grupo Fuertes, which is dedicated to the production of cheese and dairy products, mainly from goat's milk.
On the other hand, in Mensajero Alimentación they were received by the managers of the cannery who showed them the facilities where they are dedicated to the commercialization and production of canned fruits, vegetables and sauces.
Since its creation, in 2000, the current management set out to create a culture within the organization, with the aim of satisfying the needs of its customers, offering products that maximize their expectations in terms of quality and service.
The Mayor of Bullas thanked the Secretary General, Delegate of the Government and Regional Deputy for their visit, showing interest in companies that "after so many years show commercial and economic solidity, creating employment and wealth in the municipality".
