Last Friday, the presentation of the second edition of the magazine 'El Arco' about the heritage and history of Bullas took place in the Plenary Hall of the Bullas Town Hall.
The Councilor for Culture, Antonio José Espín, was in charge of teaching and showing the magazine to the assembled public.
The magazine has about 30 pages of articles, chronicles and documented data about the municipality.
Thus, you can find some texts such as the image of Our Father Jesus Nazareno of the year 1795 that was lost during the Spanish Civil War, or the "Alcoholeras de la Placeta de Carreños" by the anthropologist Juan Pedro García, as well as the trade union or the military and naturalist Juan Sánchez Cisneros, a bullen who lived in the reign of Ferdinand VII.
We also find other writings such as the concept of Cultural Heritage, about the Venus de Bullas, documentation of the history of Bullas through its general cause, an advertising script of the Tower of the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary. its bells, from the "place of Bullas" to the Villa de Bullas and a chronicle of the transition in Bullas.
Finally, in the magazine there is also a cultural yearbook of 2018 with a double page where some of the cultural activities are collected, the most outstanding in last year's programming.
For the councilman of Culture "the commitment to the conservation of the heritage of Bullas is clear" and showed that "Bullas is a fundamentally cultural town", defining it with three adjectives that are wine, natural and cultural.
"Basis of our idiosyncrasy, the model we have been forging over the years," said Espin, who pointed out "the importance of knowing our past, our heritage and our cultural signals so that we can make it ours, love it and protect it."
He ended by thanking the Heritage Commission of the Culture Board and all those who have made this second magazine a reality.
