More than 150 professionals of the Hospitality industry of Murcia participated yesterday in the first Encounter of Wines of Denomination of Protected Origin Bullas.
The event, which took place in the Royal Casino of the capital, was attended by twelve wineries who gave their assistants their best wines.
The Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Protected Origin Bullas has wanted, in this way, to continue with the work of dissemination that is being carried out and bring together in the same space winemakers and professionals so that they can know the product firsthand and can recommend it to their customers.
During the meeting the president of the DOP Bullas, Francisco Carreño, made clear the importance of the promotion for a denomination like his, thanked the support they received and urged the Autonomous Community to continue supporting this type of initiative "we would like that instead of giving 'Spanish wines' in the receptions of the events, 'wines from the Region of Murcia' would be given and this would contribute to their dissemination and knowledge, "said Carreño.
The Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Miguel Ángel del Amor, was present at the event, who encouraged them to continue working and doing "so well".
«Each grain of sand brings wealth.
For this reason, through a participatory budgeting initiative for the first time in a long time, 300,000 euros have been allocated to the promotion of these rich products that are indispensable to make the Murcia Region brand and the Spain brand that we all seek, "explained del Amor .
He also announced the celebration of the Monastrell Congress in the Region of Murcia so that the variety "that in many cases is unknown" is known.
During the act he accompanied them on the tour of all the tables of the wineries that were present and tasted the different wines.
