The Bullas Wine Museum hosted yesterday the official opening of the XII Bullas DOP Sample with the participation of the wineries covered by this Denomination of Origin: Bodegas del Rosario, San Isidro Winery, Balcona Winery, Carrascalejo Winery, Fernando Carreño Peñalver Winery, Bodega Tercia de Ulea, Bodega Lavia, Bodega Monastrell, Bodegas Hydria, Bodegas LLano y Monter, Bodegas Contreras and Bodega La del Terreno.

The President of the PDO, Francisco Carreño, the Mayor, María Dolores Muñoz, and the Director General of Agrarian Funds and Rural Development, Carmen María Sandoval, inaugurated the Exhibition of the new wines.

The President of the DO commented that "the world of wine can be a very important element to link with other sectors" and with the municipal elections on the eve of the event, he pointed out that "politicians must take care of this type of experiences that are years old and consolidated", Bullas Protected Denomination of Origin celebrates 25 years.

For its part, the first Edil highlighted the commitment and support for more than two decades that has made the City of Bullas for the wine sector with the Wine Festival, wine tourism, the recovery of old wineries as the seat of the Council Regulator, the Don Pepe House, the Wine Museum that dedicates exhibitions, concerts, courses, tastings or presentations, "highlighting the support we owe to the companies and collectives that make up the Wine Route and, of course, the Regulatory Council of DO Bullas, with which we will continue working side by side in favor of the socio-economic development and culture of the wine sector ".

For the General Director of Agrarian Funds and Rural Development "young people are the generational relay and they have to continue with this effort that for 25 years we have done together so that the DO is where it is" encouraging them to work in this sector and remain in the territory.

After the official inauguration, politicians of the different parties, regional deputies, mayors of the territory covered by the DO, such as Mula, councilors, winemakers and winemakers tasted the new wines from the different wineries present there.

Meanwhile, today the XII Wine Quality and Blind Tasting Competition will be held, and in the afternoon the closing gala with the corresponding awards ceremony to be held in Mula.
