The City of Bullas has received a grant within the convocation of unique projects of local entities that favor the transition to a low carbon economy, within the framework of the ERDF Operational Program of sustainable growth 2014-2020.
The assistance received will cover the installation of a system for the accumulation of electricity for the photovoltaic installation of the Social Services building, a new photovoltaic installation for self-consumption connected to the network in the tourist-recreational complex of La Rafa and an isolated photovoltaic installation for the pump. water recirculation of the Paseo de los Centenarios.
In this way, photovoltaic solar installations of different types will be available in municipal offices: an isolated installation, an installation connected to a network with an accumulation of electricity and another without accumulation of electricity.
In addition to the reduction in annual electricity consumption, which is estimated at 36.5 MWh, and the reduction in the emission of greenhouse gases, estimated at 19.04 MT, these facilities will serve as a demonstration element for citizens to be able to know the operation of them.
