The Proyecto Abraham Association has closed, this morning, the Spanish Course for Foreigners that has been developed in the municipality of Bullas.
The event was held in the Plenary Hall and was attended by the President of the Abraham Project, Tońi Villarino Martínez, and the Councilor for Social Services of the City of Bullas, Rosario Martínez Martínez, who presented the diplomas that certify the participation to the people who have carried out the training.
The training has been aimed at vulnerable people in the locality, with the subsidy of the City Council, and has consisted of a Workshop of Spanish Language for migrants, in which a total of 14 people participated with a total duration of 52 hours, distributed between February 21 and May 31, 2019.
About Proyecto Abraham
Project Abraham is an NGO of social and environmental action, which focuses on the management of waste clothing, footwear and toys and the performance of various social actions aimed at promoting the living conditions of vulnerable people, as well as increasing their level of employability, with insertion itineraries such as Camina Entre Telas and Prolaboral.
This association maintains in the municipality of Bullas a total of 27 containers located on public roads, of which during the year 2018 withdrew around the 60,000 kilos of clothing, footwear and toys that the citizens deposited in them.
