Police, Civil Guard, Social Services and City Council staff in general are trained in matters of gender violence (24/06/2019)

The Department of Equality of the City of Bullas, being aware of the great social and structural problem that violence against women involves and with the aim of training, sensitizing and informing in this area professionals involved in the care of women victims of gender violence , recently organized a conference on the "Network of resources in gender violence" in order to publicize the resources that are available in terms of violence against women.

The objective of this day was to offer attendees up-to-date information on the resources available to support women victims of gender-based violence as well as their minor children, as well as raising awareness in this area.

The day was opened by the new councilor of the branch, Carmen María Abellán, who took the opportunity to present herself in public.
