Two young pregonero musicians of the Patron Saint Festivities (16/08/2019)

The City of Bullas, through its Department of Celebrations, today announced that the preachers of the Patron Saint Festivities in honor of the Virgin of the Rosary will be the musicians Jesús Caparrós and Rosa Campoy.

Jesús Caparrós Caballero (09/09/1992 Bullas, Murcia), is an electric bassist, composer and producer.

As a child, he became fond of music because of the influence of his parents.

Start with the electric bass at the age of 14.

At the age of 19 he acceded to the Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country "Musikene", where he studied Jazz with musicians of national and international renown.

Working as a professional bassist since 2013 he has recorded 10 studio albums and has collaborated on various projects of multiple styles such as "Choice", "Garob Band", "Daniel Juárez Quintet", "Maxi Caballero trio" or "Marcos García".

At the end of 2016 he published his first album with original music, with the band The Red Capa.

In 2018, he decides to resume his compositional work and begins to create the universe of what will be his first solo album 'Cosmic Empire' (published in January 2019), a disc entirely produced at home and between hours and hours of travel, where You can see a more electronic face of your music.

Currently, he continues to combine his work in Antonio Lizana's group with his personal project and other hobbies.

On the other hand, Rosa Campoy, born in 1988, from Bullas, moved to Sweden to study the Master in Symphony Orchestra between 2014 and 2016 with the Symphony Orchestra of the University of Gothenburg and, subsequently, studied at the Mälardalen University of Vasteras

Previously, he graduated from the Professional and Superior Conservatories of Music of Murcia with Nicolás Gálvez and Miguel Torres, respectively, having previously started with José A. Caballero at the Bullas School of Music, where he also plays with the Villa de Bullas Musical Union since its beginnings in 1998. Also, he has made masterclasses and private lessons with Jesús Carrasco, Helena Nyman, Johannes Peitz, Javier Ros, Josep Fuster and Jose-Franch Ballester, among others.

He worked as a teacher in the music schools of Bullas (2009-2013) and Amigos de la Música de Jumilla (2011-2013).

Recently, he plays Mozart's clarinet and string quintet, as well as the trio for cello, clarinet and piano op.

11 of Beethoven and the Double concert for Viola and Clarinete de Bruch.

He has worked with different orchestras such as Dalas Sinfoniettan, Jönkoping Sinfonietta or Konsertkör Orchestra and from February 2018 to March 2019 he works in substitution with the Gothenburg Opera Orchestra, with which he continues to collaborate today.

Forging a career outside our town, but always proud of their roots as bullfighters and having started at the Municipal School. With this recognition We want to highlight the figure of our young Bullas workers and scholars who triumph outside our municipality in this or other artistic disciplines and, wherever they go, bear the name of their people with pride "stand out from the City of Bullas.
