"When we look at nature, we see ourselves," with phrases like this, the naturalist, environmental communicator, writer and journalist, Joaquin Araujo Bullas last night defended the connection between humans and biodiversity, in a conference at the House of Culture Bullas delivered before an audience.
Similarly, Araujo criticized attempts to deny climate change or the human being as alien to their own natural diversity.
According to Araujo, in every human being is present not only their personal history but the history of our planet's natural life.
Advocated the active involvement in the defense and situational awareness for ethical reasons, rational and aesthetic beauty itself involves the life around us.
The conference closed 3-cycle on climate change and biodiversity, including in the program of activities Verde in June 2010.
Councillor Bullas Environment, José Maria Ortega, who introduced the event, the tournament June descacó Verde, in its third edition, has become a regional reference and a real commitment municipality by the values of sustainability and knowledge and respect of nature.
