Yesterday was formed the table 'Animal Welfare' of the City of Bullas that make up each of the political representatives -PSOE, PP, Neighbors for Bullas and IU-Greens, along with the Paticas Protective Association, the Society of Hunters Bullas, sergeants and representatives of the local security bodies Police and Civil Guard Bullas.
"The purpose of this table 'Animal Welfare' is to ensure the protection of animals and monitor compliance with the laws relating to pets," says the chairman of the board and Councillor for Environment, Juan Valera.
During the formation of the Bureau he talked about the campaign to promote the departments of Environment and Health which is due to take a census of dogs as well as implantarles the microchip so that a lost dog can return as soon as possible with its owner.
In addition, emphasis was placed on compliance with the Law on Protection and Keeping of Animals and the Municipal Ordinance that it is compulsory for pet owners collect the droppings of these being its failure sanctioned with financial penalties.
They were also given to all the collaboration agreement between the City and the Paticas Association to launch an animal shelter and if members of the Bureau consider it appropriate to contribute ideas.
