Yesterday was presented in Bullas in the House of Culture the exhibition 'green Rails' which will be open until Sunday September 4.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the mayor of Bullas, Maria Dolores Muñoz and the manager of the Consortium of Greenways in the Region of Murcia, Juan Soria.
'Green Rails' shows, through a collection of photographs, before and after the Northwest Greenway.
The images collected moments in the history of the old railway line that linked Caravaca de la Cruz with the city of Murcia, for which today runs the Northwest Greenway.
The exhibition, which is accompanied by the screening of a documentary about the history of this infrastructure, is organized by the Consortium of Greenways of Murcia, with the collaboration of the City of Bullas.
During the opening of 'Green Rails' Mayor invited to make use of the Greenway, wishing to continue working well and that among all administrations, partnership and citizens, care for and spoil you because he said "is invaluable in terms of tourism it generates in the area and environmentally speaking. "
In this sense, the Consortium and municipalities for which elapses Way are working on the installation of panels and cartería to guide the traveler to the center, in the case of Bullas, to the old town, so they can know their heritage cultural and also enjoy its cuisine and fine wines.
And it is that the 78 km route of the Northwest Greenway make more and more users, "thousands and thousands" as highlighted by the Manager, Juan Soria.
The exhibition is part of the initiatives being put in place thanks to the Revitalization Plan of the Greenway, funded by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF).
