Yesterday, Councilor for Agriculture, Juan Valera, presided over the meeting of the agrarian organizations, cooperatives and irrigation communities in the plenary hall of the City Council of Bullas to discuss the issue of security in rural areas.
This is the third year of this meeting, which was attended by the Team Roca (against robberies in the field) of the Caravaca command, the Sergeant of the post of the Civil Guard of Bullas, the captain of the command of the zone Caravaca, as well as the Sergeant and the Corporal of the Local Police of Bullas.
"We consider very effective the work carried out by the ROCA teams, as well as very positive results the results obtained in the fight against criminal activity in the rural environment" said the mayor of Agriculture remembering that the coordination of ROCA teams of the Civil Guard together with the post of command of Bullas, the Local Police and Seprona make it possible for many criminals to be detained and that our fields are increasingly safe.
According to statistics, Bullas has one of the lowest burglary rates in the Region of Murcia, the result of the great work carried out by all security forces where citizen collaboration is fundamental.
On the table, in addition, the representatives of the agrarian organizations and the farmers themselves were concerned with the monitoring of dry-harvesting stores and the establishment of a period of initiation of the so-called "almond harvesting".
They recognized the importance and coordinated work of the security forces that carry out a special follow-up to avoid thefts in the field.
