The Councilman of Culture, Antonio José Espín, today announced the dates for the II Festival of Amateur Theater 'Villa de Bullas', to be held between January 27 and February 9.
Among the sixteen works presented at the Competition, only three companies from Elche, Murcia and Callosa del Segura (Alicante) will take the stage to delight the public with their works.
The first that we can see in the House of Culture will be 'Floresta' of the company 'Virtual theatrical group' of Elche.
It will be on Saturday, January 27, when the actors from Elche will present this tragicomedy in which they tell the last three days of a story starring a widowed mother and her two daughters.
On Friday, February 2, it is the turn of the actors and actresses of the 'Asociación Juvenil Coral Ditirambo' of Murcia to present the work 'Manual of Instructions to Love and Murder'.
A musical comedy based on the movie 'Eight death sentences'.
Finally, on Friday, February 9, we will be able to see the play 'Tres papás para Totó', performed by the theater group 'Coliseo' by Callosa del Segura.
Work vodevildonde the plot will lead to ridiculous situations, misunderstandings, mischief, deceit and jealousy.
These three companies will compete for the awards for "Best Work", "Second and Third Best Work", "Best Director", "Best Actress" and "Best Actor", whose decision will be issued by the jury at the Closing Ceremony of the Competition.
The gala will be held, presumably, in March, with the participation of the local theater company Matícate.
Tickets can be purchased at the Informajoven at a symbolic price of 2 euros and, also at the box office, minutes before the performance of each work.
The performances will take place at 20.30 in the auditorium of the House of Culture of Bullas.
