Recently, Bullas has formed an association composed of several members of different communities of irrigators of the municipality, called Association of Irrigators of the WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant) of Bullas.
The objective of the Association is the management of wastewater, its costs, joint projects, being easier and cheaper all through it.
The Association will be responsible for projects of general interest and, in turn, each community of irrigators within the Association will manage its internal affairs through its boards of directors and internal assemblies of partners.
For its part, the City will mediate in the conflicts of the Association as reflected in its bylaws, which are open to the incorporation of other communities of irrigators.
Yesterday, between the Association of Irrigators of the Bullas WWTP and Bullas City Council an agreement was signed for the Association to take charge of the waters coming from the station that purifies the Bullas wastewater.
This agreement was signed by the signatures of the Mayor, María Dolores Muñoz, and the President of the Association, Francisco Marsilla.
For the Department of Agriculture and Environment "is the merit of all the constitution of a single community of irrigators in order to get projects and fight for grants, making a common front."
