Councilman IU-Greens in Bullas, Manuel Escámez, today criticized the PP of the municipality to reject the implementation of a program to ensure free textbooks annual cost is 18,000 euros.
Escámez explained that the refusal of the PP in this performance shows "lack of commitment of the government team with the needs of citizens who can not cope with this huge expense."
He recalled that the program was launched in the municipality in the 2003-2007 term, benefiting families, especially those with fewer resources, and small businesses, because the funds came from local bookstores.
Therefore, Escámez has asked the affected families "to transmit to the council disagreed with the government's incomprehensible decision Bullas more unsupportive of its democratic history."
"With the PP always need money for social programs but never great pomp, acts of propaganda, strakes, promotional literature or political salaries professionalized," he concluded.
