This week begins the process of revitalization both in the classroom through lectures, symposium, and outside them, through trips to make known to young audiences climate change issues in the vineyards of the area.
These actions form part of Project ACT (Adaptation to climate change in time), set in the LIFE program and were proposed by the Department of European, on 26 October, at all schools in the municipality.
The talks-awareness seminar on climate change will be led by the Doctor of Biology, Santiago Fernandez.
On Wednesday, November 9 at the College will be the love of God, and continue on Thursday 10 other schools, specifically in the Public School Bishop Garcia Rodena, and in the cup in the Public School Antonio Machado.
On Friday 11 November, the students of 5th and 6th grade God's Love College made an excursion to one of the wineries that are part of the Ruta del Vino Winery Monastrell SL, and during his visit, students will observe, in situ, the current situation of the vineyards that have been affected by climatic effects such as hail or high temperatures this summer.
After the performances of awareness, will take place on Youth Art Competition Climate Change.
An event targeted at boys and girls, aged between 11 and 18, and for which there are different modalities, Primary, and Bachelor.
Through drawing, comic, photo, video, etc.., The younger may express what they learned in these talks and visits.
From December 2 to 18, inclusive, all work will be exhibited in the Exhibition Hall of Culture House.
