The Department of Equality presents the activities planned to mark the 25th November at the opening of the exhibition "... of them" (18/11/2013)

On Friday, the Councillor for Equality and Women, Maria Antonia Abril, accompanied by the Mayor, Pedro Chico, and Councilwoman of Culture, Francisca Caballero, inaugurated the exhibition '... of them', which displays a collection of comics 13 women illustrators in order to stimulate discussion and reflection of the status of women in society.

Abril, explained that this exhibition promoted by the Institute for Women of the Region of Murcia is part of the activities planned to commemorate the November 25 International Day Against Gender Violence.

On Friday afternoon 29 will focus on smaller preventive actions with kindergarten and primary children.

Finely, on Saturday November 30, the local company Maticate township comprising women perform a new work entitled 'We all have the same story', under the direction of Jose Antonio Valera.
