The body of the local police and Antonia Jimenez have been awarded the recognition granted by the Municipality of Bullas, via the Department of Equality and Women, for their efforts to eradicate gender violence.
The Councillor for Equality, María Antonia April and the Mayor, Pedro Chico, presented the awards, a miniature replica of the statue of the Venus de Bullas, in a ceremony held in the lounge of City Hall in the presence of members of the municipal corporation, family, friends and neighbors Bullas.
April said that local police officers are deserving of this award "for his work on behalf of the safety of women who suffer and have suffered abuse in the municipality."

Art Contest II Equality and no Violence Against Women
