Unemployment falls in Bullas more than 11% last year (05/02/2015)

Job creation in Bullas continues to grow steadily in the annual registrations, as evidenced by official data released this past Tuesday February 3 by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF).

These positive figure indicates will fall into a 11'13% of unemployment in the town, resulting in the addition of 179 neighbors to the labor market from January 2014 to the same month of the current year.

So Bullas Murcia is one of the municipalities where more pronounced was the decline in unemployment, nearly doubling the regional (6'13%) and national average decline (6%).

Appreciable reductions were also seen in the number of unemployed in the different age between 35-39 years (20'10%), 20-24 years (19'38%), 45-49 (16'33%) and 30- 34 (15'24%).

"It is positive evidence that working in the right direction, but are also figures that keep us from triumphalism that indicate that we keep paddling hard in that direction marked in these difficult times of crisis," said the local mayor, Pedro Chico, warning that another year January has again become a "black month".

"For almost half a century ago unemployment grows every January at the end of the Christmas period and Bullas has not been this year an exception," says Chico, detailing that unemployment increased by 14 people in the town.

"But these data January we frame them in the annual figures, which confirm a progressive job creation," said the mayor, recalling the formula introduced in Bullas to combat unemployment.

"The key strategies for these objectives also go through the promotion of local production, our tourism, attracting business investment, training of unemployed and employed workers and streamlining administrative procedures for the implementation of economic activities in the population "said the mayor.
