The Department of Public Safety and Health Campaign reminds collection of dog waste (23/07/2015)

From the Department of Public Safety and Health, which runs Matilde Guillen insists on the importance of the cooperation of citizens to keep the streets of the municipality of Bullas clean dog excrement.

"Keeping our streets clean to avoid infection, facilitate street cleaning, prevent falls, eliminating problems generated poop as lack of sanitation, prevent coexistence problems and improve the image of our town are important reasons that neighbors with dogs, horses and / or any other animal to defecate on public roads must be taken into account, "says Guillén councilman.

To account for all, today the Spanish Association for Environmental Education will be in gardens and parks of the town handing out leaflets with information to educate residents about the campaign of collection of dog waste.

They will also give owners bags deposited in the container and pull your dogs stool.

The council recalled that the Municipal Ordinance requires dog poop pick up and that non-compliance will be sanctioned with fines of 500 euros in the absence of repetition and 2,000 to 5,000 euros where the breach is repeated.

On the other hand, Matilde Guillen notes that this ordinance also prohibits abandon, sell, use for events such as fights or popular festivals, which involve cruelty and mistreatment of the animal, and take them into lots, abandoned and, in general, in local that can not be exercised on them the necessary surveillance.
