Celebrations in honor of Santiago in the Clock Tower (25/07/2018)

The next weekend of July 27 to 29, the Torre del Reloj square hosts one of the most popular neighborhood parties in the municipality of Bullas.

It is about the Fiestas de Santiago Apóstol.

On Friday, the activities scheduled at 10 o'clock in the morning will begin with the gathering in the shadow of the Tower where there will be lunch with the users of the Day Center and the Cognitive Stimulation Room, as well as the students of the prevention course of dependence of the Cup. In the afternoon, at 20.30 the tarascas will be made, at 22 the traditional crumbs are made and at 11.30 pm Jack Brown concert.

On Saturday from 18 to 20 hours there will be popular and children's games for children and also guided tours to the clock tower.

Later at 20.30 a parade with Uncle de la Pita is celebrated and the famous Tarascas are burned.

Finally, the night continues very animated with the mobile disk.

On Sunday a procession is celebrated with Saint James the Apostle, the festivities are in his honor.

It will be from 10 from the Parish to the Plaza de la Torre del Reloj.

And it ends with a mass there in the plaza with the performance of the Peña La Uva.

On the other hand, nowadays of Santiago and Patron of Spain a Eucharistic celebration is celebrated in the Ntra. Sra. Del Rosario parish at 8:00 pm, officiated by the parish priest Juan José Noguera.

"This is one of the most popular festivals held during the summer that aim to unite the neighbors around the Tower and spend a few days with activities to enjoy as a family" highlights the councilman of Celebrations, Antonio José Espín, who invites all the neighbors to participate in them.
