This morning was the day chosen for the body of the Bullas Local Police to celebrate the festivity of its patron saint, the archangel San Miguel, whose name day was Saturday 29 September.
As it was years ago, and with the solemnity it deserves, at 11 o'clock a Mass was celebrated by the parish priest Tomás Álvarez, presided over by the patron saint of the Virgen del Rosario, and attended by the local authorities, members of the Municipal Corporation and relatives of the agents.
Immediately after, the agents have been put in formation in the Plaza de España and have been greeted by the Mayor, María Dolores Muñoz, the Councilor for Citizen Security, Alfonso Manuel Guirado, the Police Sergeant, Francisco Espín, as well as the Sergeant of the Civil Guard, José Antonio Boluda.
"This celebration is a way of recognizing the work and work done by agents who are responsible for protecting the citizen, safeguarding our safety and preventing the reporting of crimes, as well as clarifying unlawful acts, among other functions," said the City Council of Bullas.
