Sports party at the Bullas HandBall Cup 2019 (24/07/2019)

This past weekend a new edition of the Bullas Handball Cup tournament was held, which took place in its new location the Nicolás de las Peñas sports complex.

This turf handball tournament, organized by the Bullense Handball Club with the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the City of Bullas and the sponsors of the club, has returned once again to bring the show of this handball discipline.

Nineteen teams and more than one hundred and fifty registered from various places in the Region of Murcia have participated, such as Águilas, Lorca, Jumilla, Murcia, Puente Tocinos, Cehegín or Cartagena.

On Friday, it would start in the afternoon, with the first matches of the group stage.

On Saturday morning the protagonists were the students of the Summer School of the Club, who enjoyed this sport.

It continues to be held from Monday to Thursday in the Juan Valera pavilion.

On Saturday the group and semifinals phase was closed.

And finally, on Sunday morning the winners of the different categories were decided.

After forty-eight games and 4,850 goals, the champions in this 2019 edition have been: in the children's category-male cadet, BM Lorqueño;

in children-cadet female, Team Actimel;

in male youth, Real Colicos;

in women's youth, Team CBMP;

and in the senior male category, L'Indécis.

In the awards ceremony, which the tournament said goodbye, was present the Councilor for Sports of the City of Bullas, Alfonso Sánchez, who along with Juanmi and Manuela, young players and future of the club, distributed the trophies to the participants.

The Club now begins its preparation for the new season that starts in mid-August, preparing a season full of sport and handball.
