On Monday, November 18, the call of the Municipal Council of Agriculture was held, which was chaired by the Councilor for Agriculture Agustín Vicente Madrid and as Vice President the Councilor for Works and Services Juan Valera Gea.
The call was attended by representatives of Cooperatives, Agricultural Organizations and Irrigation Communities, as well as representation of political parties, in this case the representation of Citizens by Councilor Paco Espín.
The points discussed were:
-Information on the request made by the City of Bullas to the CARM to fix roads affected by the DANA episodes.
-Information on the Proposed Ordinance of agricultural burning of pruning remains.
Asphalting of rural roads.
Requests and questions.
The most debated topic fuels the second point on the proposal of the Ordinance of agricultural burning of pruning remains in which the members of the Council provided suggestions in this regard in which we must highlight the bad information about it in the last two years by the Ministry and the different criteria in this regard both by the state administration and by the Regional.
This Ordinance will be used to regulate pruning burns and I will offer the farmer ease to carry out pruning burning when the burns are intended to prevent or mitigate damage caused by pests, diseases or avoid other risks of greater severity, under extraordinary measures of prevention, as long as other disposal methods are not feasible
The City of Bullas will be, together with Ricote, a pioneer in the enforcement of a Pruning Burn Ordinance where the application of this rule will be subject to compliance with the Municipal Ordinances and the legislation on the environment and public health that is of application.
