Art, culture, gastronomy and wine tourism encompass 'Vinarte 2020' (13/02/2020)

From March 1 to 31, Bullas will promote its wines with tastings, concerts, routes, guided visits to museums and workshops for children, among other activities.

Yesterday, the Vinarte 2020 program was presented at the Central Office of Murcia Gastronomic Capital, located on the ground floor of the Romea Theater.

There, were the Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, and, on behalf of Bullas, the Mayor, María Dolores Muñoz, the Councilor for Tourism, Águeda Fernández, and the President of the Bullas Wine Route Association, Antonia Fernández.

Vinarte, which will take place from March 1 to 31, brings together dozens of activities, such as visits to wineries, museums and vineyards, concerts and gastronomic routes.

The City of Bullas, in collaboration with the Bullas Wine Route, programs this cycle of activities with the wine of the Protected Designation of Origin as the protagonist.

"Today we can say that Vinarte as wine improves with the years" highlighted in the presentation the Councilor for Tourism that gave an account of all the programming.

From the concerts in the Wine Museum within the 'Music to Taste' cycle, visits to the Wine Museum, the Don Pepe Marsilla House, the Los Cantos site, exhibitions, activities for the little ones, such as the yincana of the must, and the development of the El Zacatín Market, which is held every first Sunday of the month in the Plaza Vieja, promotional wine routes with visits to wineries and walks through our natural surroundings, together with the pairing dinners that demonstrate the extraordinary symbiosis between wineries and restaurants of the Wine Route.

About the pairing dinners the President of the Wine Route spoke that explained that eight wineries and eight restaurants will participate on Fridays and Saturdays of the month of March offering very careful menus that perfectly match with the wines of the DO

On the other hand, Bullas wine will also be present in the capital of the Region, specifically, in the wine tastings that will be hosted by the Central Office of Murcia Gastronomic Capital on March 13 and 27, and that will resume during the months May, June and September.

Likewise, the Artillery Barracks will host the Bullas PDO Sample Contest in early March.

"A wide range of activities that we can and invite to enjoy in Bullas" said the Mayor who said "in the end they are the result of affection, effort, of believing all in the same goal, to all I mean, the Wine Route, to the Bullas Protected Designation of Origin and the Bullas City Council as an entity that tries to support the entire wine sector that makes Vinarte possible. "

Muñoz also thanked the City of Murcia for leaving the offices of 'Murcia Gastronomic Capital' to publicize and promote this cycle of cultural, artistic, musical and wine tourism activities.

In this sense, the Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, declared that "we want Murcia Gastronomic Capital to be a celebration open to the entire Region, as we demonstrate today, presenting 'VINarte' 2020, the wine tourism event that was born a decade ago to spread the Bullas wine heritage ".
