The City Council launches a campaign to appeal to responsibility on the days of Patron Saint Festivities and respect the security measures for Covid-19 (28/09/2020)

This morning a social awareness campaign was presented in the Plenary Hall of the Bullas City Council with which it is intended to appeal to the individual responsibility of people to follow the security measures decreed by the health authorities for the prevention of virus infections , especially, between October 2 and 6, when the Patron Saint Festivities should be celebrated in honor of the Patron Saint the Virgin of the Rosary. Present at the presentation of this campaign were the Mayor of Bullas, María Dolores Muñoz, the Party Councilor, Paqui Fernández, the Councilor for Citizen Security, Alfonso Manuel Guirado and the Deputy Chief of the Bullas Local Police, José Fernández. The Party Councilor has started the press conference announcing the campaign that will be launched today on social networks.

It is a video of little more than a minute in length in which images of the Patron Saint Festivities are seen with the contrast of streets and places such as La Almazara, Plaza de España, El Jaraíz or Adolfo Suárez Park, without people and empty, very different from how they would be in the event of the holidays.

With messages at the end of "only in this way we will celebrate the holidays again" and "for the health of all we act responsibly." From the Consistory, as a nod to these days, two activities have been scheduled for next weekend, in addition to having the music of 'El Tío de la Pita' during the mornings of this week, as an alarm clock, as Paqui Fernández has pointed out to "give a touch of color these days." On Saturday October 3, for all audiences, but especially for the elderly, at 8 pm there will be a show of humor and copla with Paco Calonge and Lourdes Honrrubia.

And on Sunday, the 4th, at 12 noon, there will be a children's activity by the Entretanto Association called 'talent show'.

The Councilor has explained that the activities will take place at the La Almazara youth center under strict surveillance and security standards for compliance with Covid-19 standards, taking temperature control at the entrance and having limited capacity.

For this, nominative invitations will be distributed this week at the Informajoven.

On the other hand, throughout the month of October, it has also been announced that it is expected to have a play. For his part, the Councilor for Citizen Security has begun his speech by making a special mention of all the people who have been on the front line since March, doing and carrying out stealth work, so that this exceptional situation disrupts the day to day as little as possible.

in the town. The message has been clear "to appeal to everyone's responsibility so that, in the coming days, that in different circumstances we could enjoy a few days off and disconnection, everyone's behavior is the same as that of previous weekends." Guirado, has reported that the Department has prepared a special device and has requested the Government Delegation, reinforcement so that there is more presence of Civil Guard in the municipality. Remembering the measures to avoid possible contagion of coronavirus "avoid crowds, meetings of no more than 6 people, if they are not living together, social distance, wash hands frequently, and use of the mask always", even in meetings of friends and family "where we usually relax ", he said. The Chief Deputy Inspector of the Local Police, José Fernández, has offered data since the adoption of the current measures, taken by the health authorities of the Region of Murcia.

Thus, in Bullas 77 infractions have been detected and reported, of which 66 have been for not wearing a mask or keeping a safe distance, 2 for preventing the work of the inspection in public establishments, another 2 penalties for not complying with the schedule of closure in establishments, 5 for not keeping the social distance between tables in establishments and another 2 sanctions for different reasons. In general, it highlights the high degree of compliance with the measures by the majority of citizens in Bullas.

Appealing to this, the first mayor has shown her conviction and optimism that "during these days we will surely be responsible and show respect for those people who have suffered or today suffer from this disease" adding that "no citizen of the municipality would like to feel responsible transmitting the virus.

Our attitude has consequences and Bullas will show responsibility.

" "We are sorry because in the video you can see images of what our parties are, but it is reality and it is also real that soon we will be able to enjoy as we did before.

This situation comes out.

And it goes out together" has transmitted this message Muñoz, wishing "a few happy days with the responsibility that we show off and spend a few quiet days within the restrictions that are set.

Happy holidays."
