The Bullas City Council reports new measures for COVID-19 (29/10/2020)

This morning at a press conference, the Mayor of Bullas, María Dolores Muñoz, and the councilors of Health and Citizen Security, Paqui Fernández and Alfonso Manuel Guirado, respectively, have announced the measures adopted by the different administrations to stop the increase in infections for coronavirus in the locality. Bullas, along with other municipalities in the Region, enters the Flexible Phase 1 that basically entails, and at the expense of the publication of the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, the suspension of the interior service for the hotel and restaurant industry, allowing only the activity on terraces or outdoors. The situation of the municipality, as noted, the mayor of Health has turned very quickly, going from 26 to 511.7% in incidence of contagion in a few days, according to the latest data from Murcia Salud. "We saw that the situation was getting complicated and that is why we anticipated and announced a series of measures that came into force last Monday, October 26, such as the closure of parks, the La Rafa area, municipal spaces, capacity control in the Plaza de Abastos, in the camping and the reinforcement in the disinfection of streets "commented the Councilor for Health.

All these measures will be in force for 15 days from their entry into force and depending on how the situation evolves in the municipality. The Councilor for Citizen Security has recalled that, in addition to these restrictive measures at the municipal level, it is also necessary to take into account the curfew implemented with the ordering of a new State of Alarm, mobility being prohibited, except for exceptions, from 23.00 hours of the night until 6:00 in the morning. The prohibition of eating and drinking in public spaces when it is not possible to maintain safety distances, the maximum occupancy of 50% in retail stores, activity inside the hotel and restaurant premises is prohibited and only the activity on the terrace and outdoors.

In this sense, those establishments with all covered cannot be completely closed, only two walls maximum.

And equally important, the use of the mask that will be mandatory outside these establishments, can only be removed for the intake of food or beverages.

Finally, customer service in municipal offices will be carried out by phone and by appointment. In the educational field, the Councilor for Citizen Security, has indicated that: "We have not been informed that there will be any change, so the classes in the educational centers of the municipality will continue their activity." For her part, the Mayor has recounted how the meeting between the 45 mayors of the Region's municipalities was and how "unfortunately a controlled situation becomes uncontrolled in a few hours." "Bullas has to go through Phase 1 and stabilize the situation.

These 15 days should be a turning point and not fall back on these data.

He has us and should serve us for that" he said. María Dolores, has returned to demand a greater number of means, personnel and reinforcements, in the Bullas Health Center, "being aware of the limitations but for the good of the population and the workers themselves, more means are needed." Finally, he has once again appealed to responsibility, attending and leaving only for what is essential and with the collaboration of all administrations and above anything else, with "our personal responsibility we can get out of this.

We play a lot, too much."
