This morning the clearing, cleaning and sanitation work began on the "cane" boulevard in La Copa.
The initiative to clean up this area dates from the legislature of the previous La Copa Council, where the Government team and the previous Council of La Copa agreed to carry out this project. A few months ago the Segura Hydrographic Confederation granted permission to carry out the cleaning.
The Community of Irrigators of La Copa and Casa Don Pedro have been willing from the first moment to collaborate so that this environment is clean and healthy, its President has been a great supporter of this initiative. For its part, the current Council of La Copa once again agreed to a unanimous agreement to carry out these works at its last meeting. "The works will be complex, since there are large trees, where there are large dry branches that are in danger of detachment.
There are also dumped debris and abundant undergrowth that makes their route impracticable at the moment," said Juan Valera, Councilor for Works and Services. The continuity of improvement of this environment and its maintenance will be permanent, where the Government Team will hold meetings with the Board of the Council and the Irrigation Community of La Copa to turn this place into an emblematic place.
