Yesterday, the Councilor for Equal Opportunities, Carmen María Abellán Méndez, closed the Gerontology course that has been taught at the Casa de la Cultura de Bullas, through the Intergenerational Solidarity Association. This training action is financed by the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy of the Region of Murcia, being totally free.

In this 50-hour blended course, content such as aging, factors causing dependency, accident prevention and first aid, Alzheimer's and other dementias, how to stimulate the dependent person and assessment of disability have been discussed, among others.
