[The Bullas City Council takes measures to stop contagion by Covid-19 (14/01/2021)

Yesterday afternoon, at a press conference, from the Plenary Hall of the Bullas City Council, in which the following intervened: Mayor Mar�a Dolores Muà ± oz, the Councilor for Citizen Security Alfonso Manuel Guirado, and the Coordinator the Salvador Egea Health Center; It was explained what the current situation is with respect to the pandemic and what new measures have been taken to prevent infections from continuing to rise in the municipality, which currently reach 83 cases.

As has been warned these previous days and given the high growth of infections, Councilor Alfonso Manuel Girado explained what measures will be imposed in the next 15 days from today, likely to be extended.

Advertised measures: 1.

Closure of the children's areas in all the parks and gardens of Bullas and La Copa, as well as the bio appliances.

All these measures were announced after the meeting of the President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, L�pez Miras, with the different mayors and mayors, in case there were significant changes in the restrictions already established.

Added, then, is the prohibition of family, social or recreational gatherings between non-cohabitating people, throughout the Region, adopted yesterday by the Community.

For his part, the Coordinator of the Health Center pointed out that cases occur more among young people and asked for self-confinement as the only way to stop the high incidence of infections.

Regarding vaccination, it has already begun to vaccinate, firstly, people over 85 years of age who can travel to the Health Center and also toilets.

"The future with vaccines is hopeful, but we have to confine ourselves.

It is the best medicine to prevent Covid infection," he said.

The Mayor of Bullas ended the press conference stating that in order to stop contagions we must reduce people-to-people and mobility to a minimum.

"Remain in our homes, leaving only for what is strictly necessary" adding that "we are responsible, supportive and generous with others and with ourselves so that this situation changes as soon as possible".
