The Mayor, María Dolores Muñoz, met this morning with the General Director of Planning, Architecture and Housing, Nuria Fuentes, to address the process of applying for aid for rehabilitating homes located in Area Regeneration and Urban Renewal ( ARRU) of Bullas and La Copa.
The area defined in ARRU includes the houses in the old town of Bullas, Ventorillo area, the Barrios de La Cruz and Paradise and the town of La Copa. Thanks to approved by the Ministry of Development plan and Autonomous region, a number of homeowners located in the anterior may accept the offer of grants for rehabilitation.
Thus, owners will receive about 50% of the cost of rehabilitation of your home from the Ministry of Public Works and the Autonomous Community, the other half being paid for by them.
For its part, the City of Bullas invest 52,000 euros in this program to work for improvement in infrastructure and redevelopment, to which the respective contribution of the Ministry of Public Works will be added.
At this meeting, the Mayor noted "the importance of this Plan as an economic boost for the construction industry," adding that "people who will benefit from it improved their living conditions."
As he has informed the Director General, Nuria Fuentes, "after Easter will hold a meeting with Bullas neighbors interested in applying for the subsidy to explain the procedures with technicians from the Ministry of Development".
In this sense, the mayor has said that "we will create an office at City Hall to report exclusively on this matter to the neighbors so they know how to take the steps and benefits of this plan."
