The Department of Equality of the City of Bullas to mark the Day on March 8, International Women's Day and International Peace, convened in last February the XXI Hiperbreve Narration Contest with the theme: Women.
The competition there have been a total of 44 stories from different points of the Spanish geography like Madrid, Zaragoza, Murcia, Molina de Segura, Huesca, Villena, Valencia, Cehegín, Albacete, Algeciras, Eagles, Mula, Fuente el Saz de Jarama, Puerto de Mazarrón, Bullas and Ciudad Real.
A jury composed of persons designated by the Department of Social Services, Municipal Library, Office of Cultural Management and Agency for Equal Opportunities, plus an expert degree in philology, has selected the three best stories: first prize for Raúl Clavero Madrid with the story 'Training' with 200 €, second prize for Antonio Javier Pagán of Alhama de Murcia with 'the photographer' which takes 150 € and third prize for Carmen Martinez de Murcia with 'Other Business' with 100 € prize.
The awards ceremony will be on Thursday at 19:00 in the Exhibition Hall of the House of Culture.
