The Civil Guard dismantles a criminal organization dedicated to the international production and distribution of cannabis (17/11/2016)

The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, within the framework of the operation MAGIC, has dismantled a criminal organization, based in the town of Bullas, which was dedicated to the cultivation of plantations of cannabis sativa and hashish, its transformation into multiple derivatives And its subsequent commercialization at international level.

In the course of the investigation, the four members of the criminal group have been arrested and large quantities of marijuana and hashish have been seized in different formats.

The operation began when the Benemérita detected shipments of postal parcels that emitted a strong smell of marijuana from the office of Bullas Post to recipients of United Kingdom.

The first investigations allowed to find out the identity of the two people who sent the suspicious packages, since in these they did not reflect the sender.

It was a man and a woman of British nationality who resided in a country house on the outskirts of the town.

In addition there was a high number of shipments by the group now dismantled.

During the last week of criminal activity came to formalize a dozen shipments, which have been seized by civil guards and subsequently opened in court, where it has been found that there are various quantities of narcotic substances derived from cannabis.

In the course of the investigation it was possible to ascertain the identity of two other persons alleged to be involved in the illicit activity, also of British nationality, specialized in the cultivation, production and handling of the drug.

Once obtained all the necessary indications and previous judicial authorization, the Civil Guard, in collaboration with the Local Police of the locality, has carried out the entry and registration in the property object of the investigation, where two greenhouses of Indoor marijuana plantations, a plant dryer, four kilograms of marijuana buds, 1,644 grams of hashish resin, several packs with 30 grams of hashish in doses, various LSD stances and other laboratory products and utensils used for the preparation of Substances derived from cannabis.

The registration has ended with the arrest and subsequent bringing to justice of the four members of the criminal group as suspected perpetrators of crimes against public health by cultivation and processing of drugs, drug trafficking and belonging to a criminal group.

Those now arrested had distributed the property in different rooms depending on their use.

There were rooms for the cultivation of marijuana, others as a laboratory for the manipulation and transformation of cannabis sativa in substances derived from it as hashish, oils, capsules, resins, etc., and others dedicated to the preparation of doses And their packaging prior to distribution.

The investigation has shown that its main commercial network was carried out through the Internet, where they were advertised as marijuana product sellers.

The most important destination of the drug was the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and they sent the substances in packages of postal mails bearing stickers with their own logo.

The arrested three men and one woman, British and aged between 28 and 50 years, the drug seized, the effects seized and the diligences instructed have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 2 of Mula (Murcia).

Three marijuana operations in the last three months in Bullas

The operation 'MAGIC' is the third investigation that the Civil Guard has carried out in the municipality of Bullas during the last months to prevent and prosecute drug trafficking.

Last August, a drug trafficking investigation was completed with the arrest of the three members of a criminal group responsible for a building fully dedicated to the illicit production of cannabis sativa.

328 plants were seized in different stages of production, 2.5 kilos of buds, several seedlings to start production of the plants and numerous elements that made up the greenhouses.

At the end of September and, as in this case, in collaboration with the Local Police of Bullas, the Benemérita completed the operation 'TREBOLILLO' with the dismantling of a clandestine greenhouse dedicated to the illicit cultivation of marijuana installed in a house in Bullas.
