The Councilor for Services, Juan Valera, has reported that the Park and Gardens Team of Bullas City Council is working to remove the numerous branches and trees overturned by snow.
The snow caused more damage than was expected in the trees of the municipality, as well as in the Barranco de la Regidora, a rambla of great environmental value that is between the Carrascalejo and the Northwest Greenway.
The most serious damages were in the deciduous trees as the snow deposited easily on the branches.
The first actions were the elimination of all the branches that constitute a danger of fall in the public schools, in order that the return to the classes happened with total normality.
On the other hand, it is still acting in the gardens, prioritizing those that require an early action to avoid the fall of broken branches that could fall at any time.
And at the same time that the branches damaged by the snow are removed, the dry and diseased branches are pruned by means of pruning works.
