In this edition of 'Vinarte 2017', for the first time, the restaurants and wineries belonging to the Wine Route Association of Bullas will opt for the Best Food Award.

This morning the initiative has been presented, which rewards the effort of the participating hotel owners and wineries, all members of the Association.

The event held at the Wine Museum was attended by the Mayor of Bullas, María Dolores Muñoz, the President of the Bullas Wine Route Association, Toñi Fernández, and the gastronomic critic of the newspaper La Verdad, Pachi Larrosa.

The wedding dinners will be held on Fridays in March and April 1st in the six restaurants of the Route, and as the first mayor said "they will marry the dishes with the wines from the wineries also belonging to the Route and with The seal of quality of the Designation of Origin Protected Bullas ".

A jury formed by Francisco José Navarro Suárez, founder academic of the Academy of Gastronomy of the Region of Murcia, Francisco Hernández Rodríguez, gastronomic critic in the newspaper of the Opinion, Joaquín Reyes Alcaina, Director of the Magazine Gastrónomo, and the own Pachi Larrosa , Will taste the dishes elaborated with care by the restaurants and will evaluate the general consistency of the pairing, the balance of the dishes, the originality, the arguments of the pairing as well as the final sensation of the whole.

The ruling will be resolved on Tuesday April 11 that will be when the prize is delivered at the Museum of Wine.

The restaurants that participate in this gastronomic initiative, framed in the activities of 'Vinarte 2017', are 'La Almazara', 'Asador del Noroeste', 'Campoy', 'Entretiempos café & vino', 'Molino de Abajo' and 'Borrego'.

These will seek to maridar their appetizers, dishes and desserts with the wines of Bodega San Isidro, Bodegas del Rosraio, Bodegas Lavia, Bodega Monastrell, Bodega Balcona and Bodegas Carreño.
