Bullas celebrates World Environment Day with almost two months of activities (05/05/2017)

The Department of Environment and the Coordinator June Green presented yesterday in the Hall of Plenary of the City of Bullas activities organized to commemorate World Environment Day during the months of May and June.

Act attended by the Mayor María Dolores Muñoz and also representatives of the associations and groups involved in the activities included in the June Green program.

The first of these is celebrated this Saturday, May 6, with an excursion to the nurseries of 'La Almajara del Sur' and the municipal microhuertos, with country aperitif.

Departure at 10 o'clock in the morning and the Municipal Table of Older Persons collaborates.

The next week, on Saturday May 13 there is also a visit to an organic vegetable garden and composting, the estate 'Cañada del Prado'.

Another activity is a route through the natural heritage of the 'Barranco de La Regidora' in Bullas.

An activity that will count with the guide Santiago Fernandez and that will cross a passage full of flora and monumental trees.

During the month of June, which gives name to the program 'Green June', there are so many activities.

On Saturday, June 3, the Fourth Farmers' Day will be held where, throughout the day, attendees can buy ecological and artisan products at the market, as well as organizing screenings of documentaries, talks, conferences, etc.

This year, the conference will be hosted by the Joven La Almazara Center.

A classic of the June Green programming is the Fotorrally that this year turns ten years and, as a novelty, will be held on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 June.

Two days to take pictures of specific subjects within the municipality of Bullas.

On the other hand, on Saturday, June 17, there will be a trip to Letur and Yeste, two towns in the province of Albacete, which have a charm and a great cultural, landscape and historical interest.

Finally, 'Green June' concludes with the day "Know your bill of light. Towards the Democratization of Engería with the Solar Energy Cooperative".

It will be on Monday, June 16 at 8:00 p.m. in the Plenary Hall of the City Hall and will take part: Antonio Soler, Vice President of the Solar Cooperative Society, Miguel Ángel Mena, Director of the Solar Cooperative Society and, moderating Francisco Espín of Efficiency Services Consulting .

In addition, all these activities must be added the excursions with full moon of the Mountain Group of Bullas and a summer campaign of the Association Salto Sostenible.

Likewise, a micro documentary by Óscar Espín titled 'Save the River' was presented, with which the council intends to make the citizens aware of the importance that we are all obliged to care for and respect our natural environment by being aware of the environment .
