The Wine Museum is the place chosen Bullas, today Wednesday, July 13, at 19.00, to celebrate the Day aimed at providing new opportunities for savings in energy consumption and efficiency.

Hence the different countries are meeting in various international forums to discuss and take action to counteract the negative effects of climate change called.

And not only national and international level, the municipalities themselves are also involved in this task.

The so-called

Covenant of Mayors includes a commitment by local government to contribute to this task with the 20% reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

It is in this context that the City wants to contribute to Bullas public awareness objective of organizing this event.

In general, this is a practical session where municipal technicians and industry professionals can provide proposals and suggestions for reducing energy consumption and, in turn, lessen the negative effects of climate change.

Here you can discuss specific cases, and the potential savings in consumption, and for that we have the technical assistance provided by associates (in this case, Integral Energy Northwest Consultants and ARGEM Agency Energy Management Region of Murcia).

This initiative is part of the project "LIFE ACT: Adaptation to Climate Change in time", a project that the Municipality of Bullas collaborates with other European partners in the design and development of a local adaptation strategy to climate change.

The event is organized by the Municipality of Bullas, chaired by Pedro Chico Fernandez, Mayor-President of the Municipality of Bullas.

It is mainly aimed at wine tourism companies and establishments that are part of this project to promote tourism around the wine, though the day is open to any company interested in the subject as well as individuals in general.
