On August 5 was held in Moschendorf (Austria), the General Assembly of the Network Vinest, which involved the City of Bullas and represented the Association of Bullas Wine Route and the Regulatory Council of the DO
This international network, created 13 years ago, consists of 11 organizations representing seven small European wine producing areas of Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany and Austria, and cooperate with each other in order to protect and enhance the variety and individuality of their wines, their territories and cultures.
Among the issues highlighted in this General Assembly, among others, those concerning the election of new executive committee where Peter Chico Fernandez, Mayor of Bullas, was elected Vice-President of the International Network.
Also discussed the financial situation of the network today, the definition of the conditions for new membership in this Association, and various proposals for the future among which is the presentation of a new project within the Programme "Europe for Citizens".
The current partners will recognize them all for participating in this network and the important role of the "capital of cooperation" accumulated during these thirteen years and has resulted in the deepening of personal relationships in the knowledge transfer aspects technical and organizational, in a shared philosophy for the recovery and development of small wine-producing areas in Europe, in the interest of all the different experiences and a good ability to cooperate in different fields.
As a conclusion to the work laid down the cornerstones of the new strategy of the network, among which are the intensification of personal and institutional relationships, increased technical exchange between professionals and the establishment of a network of co- marketing at the resort.
