The head of the list of IU-Green for Congress Murcia, Pedro Costa Morata, today took part in a march organized by this organization to claim the regional government to compel the owners of the mansion Fuente La Higuera, in Bullas, to protect the monument as established by current legislation.
The mansion, located on the outskirts of Bullas, was declared of Cultural Interest (BIC) in 1996 with the rank of monument and its "serious deterioration" could violate the law 4 / 2007 Cultural Heritage of the Autonomous Community, requires owners to maintain, preserve and protect the integrity of the property.
On the march, Costa Morata has been accompanied by the coordinator of IU-Green in the Region of Murcia, Jose Antonio Pujante, the President's spokesman dela training, José María Ortega, the council in the municipality of Bullas, Manuel Escámez and as members of the regional leadership and citizens.
All concurred on the historical and cultural value of the mansion, which was built in 1921, and the need to encourage the regional government "urgently" to owners to preserve the monument for the general direction of Heritage "is responsible for enforcing the law and appropriate sanction. "
In addition, IU-Green is collecting signatures to be transferred to that general direction, so as to require rehabilitation and avoid the disappearance of the mansion.
