Bullas City Council this morning the campaign "If you clean your house, why do not you do on the street?"
with the triple objective of raising awareness, inform and seek the cooperation of the residents of the municipality to respect the Municipal Ordinance on Protection and Animal Holding Company.
The mayor of Bullas, Peter Guy, accompanied by the Councillor for Public Service, Francisco Martinez, has directed the launch.
Chico explained that "this campaign is intended to prevent our people are filled with dog feces."
For this, the Mayor has signed a Proclamation in which he reports on the obligation of citizens to enforce the City Ordinance passed in 1996, which sought to reconcile the enjoyment of pets by their owners with the necessary respect most essential rules of coexistence.
He stressed also that the City has received neighborhood complaints in the presence of dog excrement on sidewalks, parks and gardens in the town, so it recalled the obligations of users and at the same time, given that "who does not comply the law is liable to a financial penalty. "
For his part, Councillor for Public Services, has made clear that "it is not to punish but to educate all owners that are responsible for their maintenance and care of their pets."
The first phase of this campaign is to announce the Bando City through the City Council website (www.bullas.es) to which anyone can access.
The second phase would raise with the posters of "If you clean your house, why not do it on the street?".
Third, report that in the next 3 weeks of publication of this Proclamation clarified the local police about possible economic sanctions if rules are not respected.
And last and fourth, to punish users who do not comply with the Ordinance, reaching € 500 fine for noncompliance.
