The plenary session convened at 19:00 had to be suspended by the Deputy Mayor Mariano Alvarez, who chaired the House, to go to the same a hundred people who booed, insulted and berated violent attitude to the members of government team attending the regular meeting of the plenary, which would be held on schedule and according to established democratic process.

These facts prevented the normal functioning of our rule of law in Bullas and therefore the adoption of measures necessary for the proper functioning of the municipality.

After being suspended the Plenary Session, protesters, mostly members of the Club of the Third Age, did not agree to leave the premises and continued in their aggressive and belligerent attitude towards and Aldermen of the government team, which eventually left the Hall half an hour after the suspension of Parliament and again after being insulted by these people in the street.

The government team will not coerce to these undemocratic attacks against councilors, legitimate representatives of the popular will, democratically elected in an election by a majority of the town of Bullas.

Also, the other councilors of the Socialist Group and IU showed no gesture or statement of solidarity with the Popular Party councilors, victims of these attacks.

The City Council shall Bullas legal action against anyone who threatens the normal functioning of democratic institutions of our people.
