The Mayor, Pedro Chico, and the Minister of the Presidency, Manuel Campos, today inaugurated the new building and landscaped public space, has also visited other recreational facilities recently upgraded in Bullas and La Copa During his visit were accompanied by Councilman Works and Utilities, Francisco Martinez, as well as several members of the government team.
The facilities of the new recreational area, located in the heart of the town, particularly at the junction of important roads, as Murcia Avenue, Liberty Avenue, Avenue Luis de los Reyes and Francisco Puerta González Conde Street, an investment of 274,129 euros, of which the Ministry of the Presidency, through the Directorate General of Local Government and Institutional Relations, contributed 246,716 euros, under the Cooperation Plan for the Works and Municipal Services, 2009 corresponding to the annuity.
The new playground has been conditioned with native and Mediterranean located in perimeter planters, as well as a sitting area with circular benches that serve as alcorques to existing trees.
It has also installed cobblestone pavement and new lighting.
In the same municipality other works have been undertaken conditioning pavement garden located in the Prado I, by stabilizing with cement gravel packed and placement of concrete gutters to rainwater drainage, preventing runoff.
Within the same project were conditioned recreation areas with playground in the Garden of Pines and Meadow Garden II, which also has installed rubber flooring cushion drops and can be used these playful activities with children outdoors measures protection requirements.
The rubber flooring has also been placed in other landscaped areas with existing games and Bullas in the hamlet La Copa
This work has involved the renovation of a total of 15,200 square meters of landscaped gardens in the area and improving the paving of 192 square meters of sidewalks.
Furthermore, investment has enabled the renovation of the irrigation network in the swimming pool and the replacement of the pumping station sewage spot Partial Plan El Prado.
