Bullas City Council has joined the special campaign on 'seat belt and child restraint systems' (08/03/2013)

The City Council has joined Bullas special campaign has launched the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) on the 'Belt and Child Restraint Systems (CRS)' between 11 and 17 March, as reported by the Department of Public Safety.

Among the objectives of the DGT in the Road Safety Strategy 2011-2020 is "to ensure that no child loses his life because it was not properly seated in a chair suitable for their weight and size."

At present, the data show that injuries from traffic accidents remain the leading cause of death in children older than 4 years.
