Bullas City Council in plenary session on 28 November 2012 agreed unanimously by the fifteen members attending the meeting of the seventeen that comprise it, the creation of a commission to monitor and care for people at risk of eviction .
This committee is composed of representatives of the departments of Employment and Social Services, Caritas Parish, Commonwealth of Social Services Mula river, the Platform of People Affected by the Mortgage, as well as a mediator and all political groups representation at City Hall.
The goal is to enable citizens of the municipality affected by situations of serious deprivation and need, arising from the default of mortgage loans in nature and / or urban leases, a mediation service with the company or the creditor to avoid as far as possible, their subsequent execution, and the launch of the home and forced abandonment of those and their families, all within the legal framework of Royal Decree-Law 6/2012 of 9 March, on urgent measures mortgagors protection without resources.
The commission, whose functions are not enforceable but advisory, management support and monitoring, shall meet in ordinary session every month in order to evaluate caseload, and an extraordinary meeting whenever deemed necessary in the specific issues which particularly complex demands.
