Varry liven up the evening Brava San Marcos in La Rafa (17/04/2013)

The festival of San Marcos held in the municipality of Bullas the weekend of 27 and 28 April with the National Folklore Festival, parade floats, country lunch and live performance Murcia Varry Brava group, among other activities.

Yesterday in the garden pavilion of the councilors Murta Festivities, Ana Francisca Caballero and Espin, respectively, presented the programming that will have several cultural events and religious holidays.

On Saturday the 27th will be held the XXXI National Folk Festival, where groups act "Estate urdeñas" Urda (Toledo), "Tequexeteldere" A Estrada (Pontevedra) and Peña "Grape", the local group Our Lady of the Rosary folk.

The groups guests will be greeted in the morning and the performances will be from 17.30 hours in the place of "The Rafa".

That same day, before the Festival, there will be a picnic lunch with snacks and drinks for one euro, with musical entertainment throughout the afternoon and activities for children with attractions for children.

On Sunday 28th at 8am Mass will officiate orchard and his term will be taken in procession to the holy San Isidro Labrador and St. John the Evangelist accompanied by the Virgin of the Rosary in supplication to ask for rain and bless the fields so give a good harvest.

The main novelty this year is that the parade of floats is delayed and will begin at 11 am to finish directly in "The Rafa" Walk through the garden Paco Rabal from the Murta.

Thus, all residents can participate in both events, the religious and the parade floats.

In the afternoon, from 16.30 animation will party with a DJ and 19.30 will award prizes to the top three ranked the float contest, first prize takes 500 euros, 400 euros and the second third 300 euros.

Then the party continues with the group's performance Murcia Brava and pop Varry more energetic and fun.

The councilors invited all neighbors and people outside to enjoy the feast of St. Mark, noting the council Espín that "all activities have been scheduled with the desire to beautify and protect our traditions combine to reach everyone" .
