Bullas City Council commemorates World Environment Day activities throughout June (31/05/2013)

Bullas City Council on the occasion of the celebration next Wednesday, June 5, the World Environment Day, has prepared a series of activities that will develop along the entire month of June as has unveiled Councilman of Environment, Rafael de Caceres.

Schedule of activities:

TUESDAY JUNE 4

11.00 h.

Plant Delivery on Gran Via, opposite Market Square, neighbors of Bullas and La Copa

WEDNESDAY JUNE 5

20.00 h.

Closing ceremony Bullas ACT Project in the Auditorium of the Casa de la Cultura.

The presentation will be by Maria Antonia April, Councillor of the Presidency and European project, and Rafael de Caceres Sanchez, Councillor for Agriculture and the Environment.

It will present the findings of the Local Adaptation Plan to Climate Change has made Isabel Costa Gomez, an expert on climate change.

Also, it will be the prospects of future climate change adaptation in Bullas and European projects, where talk Stefan Moritz, Consultant and Technical Director of the International Network Vinest.

And the winning video will be screened in the International Competition "ON CHANGE", created by the students of the College Love of God.

The event was attended, Manuel Campos, Minister of the Presidency of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, and Pedro Chico Fernandez, Mayor of Bullas.

THURSDAY JUNE 6

From 17.00 to 18.30 h.

In the House of Culture, a mural with the slogan: "Start today to save tomorrow", in commemoration with the environment and subsequent planting of seeds.

Aimed at children / as of 3-12 years.

The activities organized by the Association Bulle is free, after Informajoven Registration.

SATURDAY JUNE 8

9.30 h.

Course of Medicinal Plants (limited) in the CEAMA, Bullas Agroecology Center, for which there is scheduled a tour to identify and collect medicinal plants in the landscape 'Rosemary' Bullas.

16.00 h.: How to collect, preserve and make products with medicinal plants.

Mass start from the Hermitage of San Blas, in the Barrio de la Cruz, for an afternoon of adventure in the company premises 'Naturaventura Rosemary', where children will enjoy an afternoon of adventure with zip , climbing wall, archery, etc..

The event is free and is aimed at children from 5-16 years.

Technical Seminar: The carbon footprint of wine production.

In the context of wine-CO2 Project + (limited).

On this day you are going to develop in the CEAMA will analyze the importance of carbon footprint and disseminated wines calculation methodology designed within the framework of the project + Wine-CO2.

Signing of agreement for the collection of used vegetable oils with Aertamur (Association of Collection, Treatment and Recycling Oils and Fats Murcia).

Departure from the Halt to visit Plant Container Glass Recycling "Camacho Recyling" Caudete.

The visit includes a breakfast for attendees.

Talk: School gardens as a tool for Agrifood Education.

Working Panel: Experiences of school gardens in the Region of Murcia.13: 00.

Tasting of local varieties of the Region of Murcia (tomatoes, peppers, eggplant).

During the weekend I will celebrate the Marathon Recycled Art Environmental Art.

On Saturday there will be an introduction to environmental art and art recycling through videos and photographs.

Which includes the screening of "Rivers and Seas", the ephemeral art of nature, Andy Goldsworthy.

And Sunday will be held artistic works, through the art of recycling.
