Among the next 7 and 13 January a mobile unit next to the Health Center Bullas undergo medical tests aimed to prevent breast cancer for all women between 50 and 69 years of the town who have received appointment letter in 2013 .
And, once again, returns to Bullas is aimed at women of the town within the Prevention Program Breast Cancer from the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, with the collaboration with the Municipality of Bullas health campaign and the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
Thus, this program undergoes once every two years to all women aged between 50 and 69 years to a thorough medical examination, including the completion of a mammogram, in order to determine their health status and to act in time and in case of illness.
"The goals of screening is to reduce mortality from this disease and enhance the quality of life of women who suffer" explains Councillor for Health Bullas, Puri Hillocks, which strongly emphasizes that "in case of being at that age and have not received the summons, women in this age should visit their health center or doctor's office for an appointment for this test. "
