The Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, this week held a meeting with the chairman of the Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin Wines Bullas, Francisco Carreño, which treated the next national meeting plans to meet in the Region Murcia appellations of origin of wines from all over Spain.
The owner of Agriculture showed their support for this initiative to Bullas to host this meeting, which will strengthen the position which has wines from Murcia in the whole of Spain.
The Minister stressed that these events "are very positive to present the characteristics of the wine region."
The Murcia region has an area of ​​over 41,000 hectares of vineyards, of which 22,000 are copyright appellation.
The annual output is over 14 million liters of bottled wine of high quality, directed mainly by 80 percent, the international market, especially the United States, England and Germany, and with a presence in almost all the five continents.
